Teacher Training and Continuing Education Retreats

This information is from the 2014 Retreat which was held at the University of St. Thomas.  The dates, accomodations and fees have changed.

The Himalayan Tradition - Teacher Training Program (HYT-TTP) is conducting the 2014 Summer Retreat at the University of St. Thomas.  Swami Veda Bharati is sending his Himalayan Yoga Tradition Academy and his highly acclaimed international faculty to Saint Paul, Minnesota to lead this spiritually inspiring retreat.  Whether you are aiming to deepen your own Yoga practice, complete Yoga Alliance certification or enhance your ability to teach to others, you will be delighted with the opportunities awaiting you at the 2014 Summer Retreat.

All retreat guests are invited to follow the daily Ashram schedule (see below) to deepen and regulate their personal practice. According to Swami Veda, there is no point to philosophy without practice. It is only through “regularity, frequency, length, depth, and surrender “in one’s practice that life’s purpose, self-realization, is obtained.

In addition to daily prayers, meditation, yoga practices and indepth training,  a series of Evening Programs are included with each retreat  to provide further exposure to the vastness of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition.
